Launched in the autumn of 2006, Fatman has quickly established its reputation for producing some of the best performing audio systems for use with Apple’s iPod, or indeed any portable or fixed media device.
All iTube amplifiers have additional inputs for CD etc., making them fully comprehensive audio systems for all audio sources.

iTube Valve Dock
The entry-level Fatman product for use with iPod and any other audio device (e.g. CD). Utilising a hybrid-tube design platform, the iTube provides superb audio reproduction and attractive design at an affordable price. The performance of the amplifier and dock has been scrutinised by the world’s press and they have awarded it the best accolades possible. The dock allows any iPod to be used (except Shuffle) and this also comes with a full-function 27 key remote control – not just ‘marketing speak’ for a limited transport and menu control, but complete control over all iPod functionality. As one major h-fi magazine in the UK said, ‘the iTube valve dock is a gloriously effective juxtaposition of old and new technologies... ...keep it up Fatman !’.

The driving force behind the brand, James Roth, has had a significant career in the field of audio – and the Roth Audio team have all been involved in either the creation of audio systems, performance in bands, or have operated at the highest level within the professional audio and hi-fi industries.
The focus of the design and marketing team has been to identify how people listen to music, what the emerging formats are (most people have moved on from vinyl, but….the listening experience is still second-to-none.….) and how we can then create systems to reproduce the music in the most effective way possible.
Roth Music Cocoon MC4
Amplificatore ibrido per iPod. Preamplificatore a valvole e finale a Mos Fet. In un solo telaio, racchiude una docking station per iPod e un vero e proprio amplificatore Hi-Fi di alta qualità. Dotato di due valvole 12-AX7 e due 12-AU7, sezioni finali ad alta corrente in tecnologia Mos, viene alimentato tramite una sezione esterna di elevatissima capacità.
Lo chassis che lo contiene fonde l’alluminio satinato nero per la base con il plexiglass per la parte superiore, che rende visibili le valvole e i condensatori di filtro contenuti in eleganti capsule metalliche. Un complesso assolutamente funzionale nelle prestazioni e caratterizzato da un’estetica d’eccezione, in grado di valorizzare qualsiasi ambiente con un design raffinato e accattivante.
L’originalità costruttiva è resa ancora più affascinante dall’illuminazione, che diffonde un caldo colore rosso alla base dell’iPod e delle quattro valvole, assicurando un valore aggiunto alla caratterizzazione della stanza in cui viene installato. Sul frontale sono posizionate due manopole in alluminio satinato, una per il controllo del volume e l’altra per la selezione degli ingressi. Tali funzioni possono essere svolte anche dal telecomando in dotazione, in alluminio tornito dal pieno e dal quale si può governare anche l’iPod.
